What if they judge me?

Last week we talked about taking action & time management.
This week I am going to give you one of the secrets that has helped me do so continually regardless of my circumstances.
I remember taking a business group coaching program once, and on one of the first calls the coach was like, “Six out of ten is good enough.”
And I was like, “WHA???”
Six out of ten?! a D?! wow…
What would that be like if I just allowed myself to move forward even though it wasn’t perfect? And so I tried it.
I am the type who figures, if I am paying someone to tell me what to do then I’ll listen lol. And so I did.
And Awaken The Rebel was born, my imperfect programs were born, my imperfect blogs, my imperfect emails…
One time I sent out an email with one of my favorite quotes from Henry David Thoreau in it and got a response telling me that I spelled his name wrong.
Apparently “Thorough” wasn’t the correct spelling lol.
It happens. Imperfections happen all the time. And honestly I don’t care anymore. Not because I don’t want to be perfect, because trust me everyone wants that to some degree.
But because I know that if I don’t move forward IMperfectly, then I WILL NEVER MOVE FORWARD.
And that is a much worse fate.
So I encourage you today to ask yourself:
“Where am I being a perfectionist in my life or business? And how is that holding me back?”
Then commit to letting yourself off the perfectionist hook and MOVE FORWARD 😉 Six out of ten baby! All you need is a D. lol.
A lot of others also say that they don’t move forward because they don’t have the money, they don’t have the time…
And to this I would like to quote the infamous Tony Robbins, “It’s not the lack of resources, it’s your lack of resourcefulness that stops you.”
With all the insane amounts of super simple, affordable, wonderful tools out there these days you can DEFinitely get a D without blinking 😉
So do yourself and the world a favor & move forward in spite of yourself. Awaken your rebel, and stop giving a shit if people criticize you.
Go get it,
